The work of Zanne Lucy Blu exposes the unity of art + style. Zanne was born with a unique visual sense that has always been apparent in her style and as a young child, she was already highly conscious of creating out of the ordinary - cutting her dolls' hair and clothes.
With over a decade of experience in the industry, Zanne’s resume includes various training courses at The Vidal Sassoon Academy and coveted private training with high-esteemed hair guru, Tim Hartley, who was the International Artistic Director of Vidal Sassoon for 30 years; as well as positions at a number of salons in management, as Creative Director, and Head Instructor.
Zanne has a natural connection to art, architecture, and design, which allows her to completely understand the relationship of positive and negative space. She incorporates this in designing the style of her client's hair, achieving the whole visual balance. Zanne specializes in classic, progressive cuts/color to avant-garde hair design - creating geometric, defined lines to textured, soft haircuts; and natural-appearing highlights to bold panels of color. Zanne more than understands that hair and style can change your overall appearance; she appreciates them as the organic elements of your being that are ever evolving.
Zanne Lucy Blu opened The T.E.A. Room in December 2007 as an extension of herself and vision, and to provide a retreat for clients that is infused with harmony, well-being, culture, and the arts. Her skillful combination of art + design with fashion + beauty is the mix for this true artist whose passion for the process keeps her involved every step of the way.
