Recently, I styled hair and did light make-up for a spread called “Into the Wild” for the Autumn Lullaby issue of Babiekins Magazine. The photo shoot took place on location in the San Dimas woods resulting in a youthful feel, organically in tune with nature. The mini designer shoes and garments were adorable. Children are one of my favorite canvases on which to work because they have a unique glow and innocence that can be so beautifully captured. Also, they have an amazing tonality and dimension in the color of their hair that I am inspired to create through various highlighting and low-lighting techniques.
